Our new website is now available at
While there are sections of it that are still under construction, the majority of it is up and running.
We will continue to keep the old site up until the new site has been completed, and then the old site will be deactivated.
In the meantime, check out the new site and let us know what you think!

November 17, 2017 - Le Club Calumet, Augusta: Chart of Account Updates, New IPM Guidelines, NEO Transportation and Facilities, and a visit from the Commissioner & Deputy Commissioner of Education.
March 2, 2018 - location TBD: Reading Financial Statements, Safety in the School - Emergency Protocols and the Who/What/Where/When that we need to know, Risk Management, Writing the Warrant Language.
April 27, 2018 - location TBD: Legislative Update, Evaluations & Discipline, Personnel Files Review, Best Practices - annual reports, PR/HR vs AP, Grants Management, etc.
26th Annual Tri-State Conference - May 2018 in Portland!

Welcome to the MeASBO Forum

This forum is only open to the members of MeASBO. Our forum is to promote education, communication and the sharing of information on topics related to our members. We would love to have you consider joining our organization.
If you are interested in becoming a member, you can find our membership application in the document repository near the end of the forum sections.
The Mission Statement for Maine Association of Business Officials:

To unite in one State Association, professional school business officials whose primary responsibilities are in the school business field, including the major activities of budgeting and school finance, accounting, purchasing and supply management, maintenance and operation, school facility planning and construction, school food service management, transportation, non-instructional personnel management and any and all other major areas of school business administration.

To improve the service of its members by establishing the highest standards of ethics and efficiency in methods and practices in the field of school business administration.

To assemble and disseminate information that will assist the business professional in his/her capacity as school business administrator.

To improve relationships between the business community and schools.

Welcome MeASBO Members to our new website and Members Forum !

Please take a look around and think about ways that we can make this site and this forum really work to help support and assist in you in meeting the challengges of day to day life in the Business Office.
